    I have invited some folks out to ride Golden Eagle this Saturday 8:30am
    Danimal started this! Now Tom the Bomb and some of the Bomb Squad are showing...

    We did a BUNCH of trail work on the trail (http://www.imtbtrails.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1976) so it is going to be awesome!

    Hope some of you can show... ;)

    I'd never heard of Golden Eagle until I joined your site Mikie. Where is it? All the talk on IMTB has peeked my interest.

    Hey! I am so sorry for the late reply brothah! Been so busy building imtbtrails I don't check in here that much any more.

    Golden Eagle Trail is located right at the abanoned town of Sandberg on the Old Ridge Route Road (N2), is located off hwy 138 just East of Gorman near Quail Lake It's an out and back or it can be somewhat of a loop. You can add a combo of Fire Road up, jump on the trail and go out then back and bomb the last section back to the vehicle. It was a section of the PCT but the PCT got rerouted so the trail is very well designed. Smooth swoopy fast and flowy Singletrack Fun!

    I give free tours on a regular basis. At the most it will cost you a chilled 805 after all the yelling, hollaring, and high fives when we get back to the vehicles...

    I tried to ride it on the bicycle last year but it was still closed. Looking forward to checking it out soon.

    It used to be Moto-legal - anybody know if it still is? Would be a good trail to hit when riding between the 14 (Rowher flats) and Gorman.
