    Since Julie asked in another thread I figured I'd just update everybody. Things have been going great. For the past few months I've been spending more time with the family and less time riding. We've starting eating healthier and trying to exercise more (total fail for me on the exercise part). It has been a crazy ride and I wouldn't have been able to do it without you all. She still needs to have her oompherectomy or however you spell it procedure done, but we can decide when that happens. We're also trying to plan a vacation for our 10 wedding anniversary.
    Who would have thought using our blog to get things off our chest would help so many others. We have had a few ladies reach out to chinh after they or somebody they know have been diagnosed and she had been there helping them through it. I must say I'm very proud of her. We're sorry we haven't been updating here or on the blog, but we've just been enjoying life. Although I did mention that she should update the blog. Well I'm horrible at writing and organizing my thoughts so I'll end this post. And if you're wondering, the annual think pink ride is still on in may. I'll have to sort out the details.

    Thanks for the update Tony, I think about the family all the time because every time I ride the SS I see the " I ride for Chinh" sticker on the top tube. You guys are always in my thoughts and prayers.

    I'm with David, I see that sticker every time I ride the SS. People even ask about it...I'm so glad things are working out for your family!!!
    I'm looking forward to the May Ride.

    I've lost so many through the holiday season and the start of this year, 2 to cancer. You have it right Tony - your top priority is to be busy enjoying LIFE with the family - those adorable kids are with you for such a SHORT time.

    Tickled to call you a friend - HUGS to Chinh, hope I'm in town - wouldn't want to miss it!

    hey all, it's me again. back with a quick update. we took a short vacation trip to seattle and had a blast. did all the usual tourist things and visited some friends that live up there. my kids didn't want to leave, but i was ready for some sun. chinh will be having her surgery tomorrow to have her ovaries and uterus removed. this will be her last surgery. i'll keep you all posted.

    a good friend of mines gf just went through a double mastectomy. It shocked us all. they cought it early as well and she's at her final stages of reconstruction surgery.... the hole time she had such a good attitude and positive outlook. sounds similar to your case. I'm glad its looking up and the battle seems to be coming to a end... we never know what life is gonna throw our way.... got to enjoy everyday God speed to a quick recovery.
