...This shouldn't stop you from going to Roscoe's and throwing back a few... with your left arm anyway Heal up quick!
Yeah...as i stated in a later post I have been injured more at the fullerton loop than anywhere else...but I will still ride it...with caution
You're a smart man... I swear!!! It's all good. Here's to hoping he has a quick and speedy recovery, and ventures once forth into the abyss which is called... The Fully Loop! - shud
You guy's are funny.....went to the ortho today and he put me is the stupid shoulder brace.....so painful but he thinks it should be healed in 4 weeks.....that would be nice huh. I think ill polish my bike everyday until then lol Oh well time to work on my reef tank I guess haha
Well I go to see the ortho on monday......im no longer wearing the brace and have ok range of motion. I can put a shirt on, take a shower by myself etc. my wife has been awesome helping me out. Im having major mtn biking withdraws. Ive been trying to stay out of the garage so I dont see my bike. Im hoping the ortho will let me go back to work in a couple weeks and maybe send me to some physical therapy.
Hate to tell you a few weeks is probably optimistic. I am at 6 weeks and I wasn't even ok'ed to ride a road bike even on a trainer.
Round is a shape..., and BTW, you will probably be cleared to ride a road bike before a mtn bike, I hope Karma doesn't run you over like you do roadies with your redneck truck! Good to have you back!
Im so depressed......went to the ortho today and asked him when i can get back on my bike and he said minimum one more month but probably two so frustrating
Aren't all the accidents at the Fully Loop freak accidents? For such a tame trail, it really phuqs people up.
It sucks but they really set you up for that one when they said you will be healed in 4 weeks. Because the chance to fall on your shoulder in high in a docs mind on a bike they will play it very safe. Just because there is no pain doesn't mean it healed, I know that all too well. The first time I broke mine I was snowboarding a month after with a completely broken collar bone and had no idea until follow up and they took xrays showing it had not healed at all. I would say ASAP borrow a trainer so you can at least pedal.
