Same place for me and MANY others. I was just cruising since I was supposed to drive up to Sonoma for Easter and I didn't want a mishap. I was using the famous "Dino High Line", the tire washed out or hit a rock, slid into a rut and I got launched and landed next to the tree at the bottom. Oh well, I messed that plan up. Glad your shoulder is doing better.

I was out a few months.....

........It took me much longer to ride with Dino again.

Ouch!! Glad you are better! I didn't go to ER even though everyone was trying to rush me to ER, my wife is an ER nurse so she checked me out when they took me home and she said it wasn't broken, just iced it up and let it heal.

Not where the golf course begins, I jumped it last time and didn't land right but the bushes slowed me down, haha, it's at the very end before you get to golf parking lot, it has a couple of bumps and a rut in the middle, that's where I ate it, riding a hardtail and it was bouncing back and forth on bumps and ended up in the rut, be careful in these 2 spots though!

A number of crashes at that spot. Not a Strava guy so I take the new-ish singletrack at the end of the fence. A little more techy, but getting silty now.

Dino is a great leader. He show you the Fully Loop and how best to ride at your current level. I owe him a lot for my current level of knowledge and riding ability.

There was your problem. Forget Strava - stay within your capabilities and ultimately, in control.

It was the Thursday Night ride so it was starting to get dark since it was already past 8pm, I guess I was in a hurry, trying to get home and getting a faster time on Strava, It can happen when you least expect it!

It happened to me today also..think same spot..it had this big rut..I avoided it entirely but some goblin grabbed my front wheel and ended up flipping over on my right side..and I tweaked my new pedals..

It could've been a lot worse..I almost guillotined myself going into that yellow closed gate right afterwards..

Pro's: I made it up Cardiac and Nora without walking it up..

Con's: I bent my pretty pedal

I'm glad you're okay too. I was going to ride last night, but I was just exhausted after a long weekend.

I did not think you'd be able to bend those pedal spindles without doing big jumps. I can buy you some new ones or give you your money back.
