OK, I am not opposed to using my LBS for service, but there are some things that I want to do myself. One of these things is dropping the lowers on my 2013 Specialized Stumpy Elite FSR 29 and replacing the seals. The bike has a 130mm 32 Talas Evolution fork and I could not find any info on correct fork oil volumes. I did check the Fox website, and this fork is not listed. Anyway, I bought the bike at Rock & Road so I gave them a call. Actually, I called three different R&R locations and asked the same question. Here is what I got:

    Laguna Niguel: 170ml and 15ml
    Mission Viejo: 30ml and 15ml
    Irvine: 30ml and 30ml

I understand that Specialized and maybe R&R probably don't want me doing my own maintenance, but what the heck? I think I will just see how much drains out...

...or, I could call one more R&R and take an average.

170 sounds like an open bath cartridge.
