    Welcome to the Darkside!!!

My suggestion: Full Face Helmet, Elbow and knee pads are essential.

Bring your bike and come out to Fontana on Saturday. You can ride the shuttle and practice for $8 and you don't have to sign up to race!!!! It's a great place to get your feet wet!

Do these practice sessions happen at most events?

Yes all races will have practice on Saturday the day before, sometimes even a few runs Sunday morning (these are typically reserved for those registered to race)

Well there is another way... Just show up Sunday with your bike and sign up to race...

You will get a couple of practice runs in and then BAM your first race is in the bag:bang:

Also The series will run in that are every other weekend so mark out the other weekends and come out and play

FYI, due to liability issues, you are required to be registered on Sunday to race in order to be on the track. Each registered racer is given a wrist band to identify that they are registered and have signed the waiver.

As far as Saturday practice, $8 bucks gets you a wrist band and access to the shuttle (or you can hike up). You have to have a wristband regardless (again liability/insurance requirement). ;)

Yes, more than sufficient. Another common choice is a RG Trailstar or 661 Assault suit combined with independent elbow guards.

Yes, very popular especially because you can remove the spine protector and/or the elbow guards when you don't need them!!! $100 is a great price since retail is $183!!!!

Well, on second thought...I know the website says a 41" chest is a L, but how adjustable are the flak jackets?
