    Also, I met my gf at a party when she had a hissy-fit that our host started blasting cowboys from hell.

    Yeah, almost 10 years ago he was gunned down at a club he was playing at with Damageplan. I was never a fan of Pantera, or any of the off-shoots, but I can't ignore the influence he has on the metal community. I was also wondering why the thread was started, and figured out today was his birthday.
