Looks Awsome! Im sure it works flawless. Does Ibis have an opinion about this besides "never poke holes in our frame" ? They've done finite stress analisys in solid works. They should be able to at least say "where" not to poke holes in your frame. Also, they really cannot void your warranty unless they can prove that drilling one small hole in the seat tube caused your swingarm to fall off...

That is great work, but with the front derailleur cable already on the top tube why not have the post cable up there too? I can understand if he was running a 1x and did not have anything up top, but that seems like a lot of work for not much benefit...maybe you can upsell him on XX1?

I have a Lev on my HD and think its the perfect setup.

And white cable housings would make a big impact as far as clean lines go , also.

This is my bike. I waited for months for the Lev. I had it for 2 rides before the nylon actuator snapped. Ibis sent Pro bike supply the specs on where to drill the hole.

Wonder if santa cruz would give out specs on where to drill a hole in their frame for this....

Question: How do you feed the dropper post cable from the bottom of the dropper to the hole in the frame? snake it somehow?

Yes. The bleeder is at the bottom of the post so make sure the line is bleed prior to final install.

I looked into the steath posts for my spider. The easiest way way to run the cable through the hole and up the seat tube. I decided aginst it because all the other cables were either internaly router or tucked under top tube but the dropper would run along the downtube and with the reverb I had heard bleading it can be kinda a pain with cable running through seat tube. I just went with LEV and tucked cable under top tube. It looks cleaner IMO then the steath posts.

I think LEV keeps it clean enough, but I do love the one of a kind stealth action...if you do ever drop the front mech it will be perfect!
