i can't see--or access--the pub...anybody else having this problem? is it some nazi plot, an honest mistake, or the end of the world as we know it?
^^^ ding, ding, ding. we have a winner. a mod/delicate flower smited me. smited me hard. turns out i used one of the 7 words you can't use on STR (teaba**er. i'm serious). good thing i already know how to make eggs. it's good to be king... **** it. i can do this act alone (i often do).
I think a nice cup of tea would be nice while reading this thread. Now where is that tea-bag..er, there it is.
Sorry Doug. I always enjoyed reading your debates with Abui. The Pub will certainly be less interesting with you gone.
thanks, liz. and thanks to everybody for their pm's and emails. the benevolent, omnipotent mod has graciously allowed me to re-enter the pub. however, i've already starting visiting some other sites' pubs; the beer tastes just as good (and it's less filling). i'll still stop in for the occasional swig, but i'm going to try and stay away until a new bartender takes over...
I think the bartender has his own agenda, and doesn't like it when his feelings are hurt. Political or otherwise
