CHSP thieves are out there

I am sorry to hear about this incident.

I have had good luck parking at Rimcrest entrance (near Fairmont/Yorba Linda blvd) which starts you on Southridge near Glider's point and Brea Sports Park (Birch/Valencia) where ride in from Carbon Canyon park.

 

If they took your garage remote they will very likely try to rob your house. Like MOTOHP said, change your garage opener code...

Sux man sorry to hear this. I usually park there too. What day of the week and about what time did this happen? Any other cars hit?

 

Same thing happened to my car right before Xmas last year when I parked at Green River Golf course along the frontage road near the 91 FWY. Unfortunately your auto insurance policy covers damage to the car and your homeowner's policy covers the belongings of your car. File a police report and if it makes sense then file the claims with your insurance.

As for the goat heads....that's why there is Stan's. It's magic.

I learned when I had to walk out of CHSP as a rookie about 5 years ago from the base of SR by the horse corals how much goat heads suck. It was the middle of the day, about 95-degrees out in mid August, and I was still pretty out of shape since I just started riding.

Don't park there....I've had a bunch of folks tell me they've had their cars broken into over the years and I had my car broken into there right before last Xmas.

 

It was last Sunday morning, 07/20/14. Happened in between 830 am - noon. When I parked, there were close to 15 cars along the road. When I came back, there only 4 cars. I didn't notice if there were other cars hit. I looked briefly, but the 4 cars left were quite a distance from me.
