    Forget it, I am stealing Danny for the day sometime soon and taking him to the Carlsbad flowermart to see the similarities "domesticated"!

    Monkey flowers come in Blue? Neat! And I want to steal you first to the Carlsbad Floral Mart to check out "domesticated" wild flowers.

    I saw a whole of these today on a road ride at the Ritz Cove. It was on a slope next to the beach. Pretty neat looking!

    I used to have one back in the early '90's, just beautiful, and when they do finally bloom its more exciting than Christmas :)

    Cereus, dont grow here.AZ desert and N. Mexico ect..3000-5000 ft.I have a picture in my little personal book. I had no Idea what it was when I saw it in the post, hence why my little book is cool.I know, geek!!

    I had a client at the time that gave me one. When I first did some work for them they showing me around their amateur botanical garden. I was gushing over everything they had. About six months later they called me back for more work, and suprised me with this gift.
    Truely impressive was the gesture as well as the plant.
