What happened was that your go pro threw off your aerodynamic ability to corner and was counter balanced with the wind stream blocked by your helper lol. Knarly riding nate dawg, hope to ride again soon!

Tough crowd here...Nate deserves props for even trying this feature on an AM bike. It's crazy steep and your penalty for blowing that turn is huge. I'd be lucky to just sprain my ankle walking down it...

There seem to be two types of posts in response to Nate's mishap. The people who know Nate and/or know the trail he was on, and the people who have no clue about either. Guess which ones are giving the advice? (Not including Kriller and Mo's awesome tongue-in-cheek tips!)

Heal up quick bro! I know 55 effortlessly plummets down that trail on his "pedal bike" with an XC lid and no pads, and I know you are uber talented, but yeah, back to the Glory for your glory!

I'm surprised this thread is still up. Things have definitely changed around here. I'm definitely not complaining about it though.

    1. Bummer about your ankle.
    2. I've been over the side more than once on that roller so I feel your pain.
    3. You never turned your head to look through the turn at the bottom - regardless of your skill level, your chances of making clean would have been much higher.
    4. Weak sauce posting vid's of that on a public forum.

and no matter how easy 55 makes it look on his Ibis, as many of us know, the trail is ridiculously gnarly in more than a few sections, not just the section in the video.. props to Nate for upping the ante by using his trail bike..

Calepic has proven that you can go over the berm like fifteen times in a row without going over the big fall!
