Which OC parks have jurisdiction over these trails? I am trying to find out which parks I should check with to see if the trails are open. I am guessing that Serrano and Quail are under Laguna Coast, but how about Bommer?

I'd like to know too. Bommer is under IRC, if I remember correctly. But IRC does NOT have a good track record here, and I have absolutely no idea where to check trail conditions. I wish there was some centralized way they could disperse information, like OC parks has.

Serrano is shared use between LCWP and IRC. Quail is IRC. When you say Bommer, if you mean Bommer Canyon, that's IRC but it you mean Bommer Ridge, that's LCWP. OC Parks announces opening and closings on Facebook. Crystal Cove posts on their website. I don't know how you find out about the IRC but normally if LCWP is closed, it's pretty likely that they are closed too.

And please if the trails are muddy, stay off. Last time it rained, someone rode at Bommer Canyon and left very deep tire marks on the Bommer Connector singletrack.

    +1 ^^^

I'd defer to LCWP -- usually open a day earlier than El Moro (Crystal Cove) -- because unless you just do an out-and-back to Quail Hill, you're going to ride on LCWP trails.

This is exactly why I am waiting a while to ride.
