I thought I've seen cocktail rock crowded before, but this is insane.
I think I'm in there somewhere! Beautiful day up there. We did the upper loop too. I know I can mange 2400' of climbing, but the extra 1000 did a number on me. Not enough in the tank to manage those challenging chunky sections on the upper loop, and a sloppy, crampy ride down. Still MUCH fun and great conditions!
Was a GREAT day to ride in SoCal!
Who riding this weekend? How are the trails looking muddy, f'up or hero dirt?
Ok, I have waited and I will ride today. I am going up the 2nd best trail for after wet conditions and I am bringing my bike to work for riding the #1 network on Monday. I am a little worried about the chaparral since all these storms are passing by without lending any moisture, but I am totally stocked that it has been 3 days since the El Nino "storm of the century". Friction will be high and cushioning will be at maximum comfort.
I heard more rain is on the way. I opted for a road ride today down the canyon. It was great. Lot's of roadies today.
