    I would second sycamore. The soil is the same as fontana and it holds up well to rain. Also sycamore cyn is just a fun place to ride.

    Del Cerro is OK if you stay on the main fireroad - most of it is rock.

    Mojave is great after and during a good storm;
    Nothing but sand as far as the eye can see...

    I rode 12 miles yesterday at lunch time in a deluge and caused no discernable trail damage (I think)
    Rode about an hour today before it started sleeting in dime-sized pellets - again, no siginificant trail damage.

    That is one of the few consolations for working in the "armpit of the world". Well that and watching White Knight II perform touch and go's from my office window:)

    Relax and cool your jets.....give the trails some time to dry out. With the amount of rain that we got this whole week as well as what comes in tomorrow....I would guestimate Tues or Weds at the earliest......but rumor has it that we might get more rain on Tues.

    OC Parks are closed for 48-72 hours after a significant rain....so best case scenario for the parks, would be Mon or Tues.

    I'd suggest riding up Harding TT, then to the peak or Silverado Motorway, or just back down Harding. Maple Springs could be good, too, but you might get your feet wet on the stream crossings.

    Black Star is the worse place to ride after rains. This pic was taken after we started and it wasn't raining yet. It never rained, but started to drizzle on the way up past Hidden Valley and even with that is just enough to muck things up.

    Can always do a nice bike path ride! I posted a ride on the calendar for Sunday. Starts in Irvine and goes around the Newport Back Bay.

    You do not want to ride the Bs or anywhere in Oaks after rain. It is gross mud too (high horse poop content). Sycamore Canyon seems to be the best bet.

    The lower switchbacks on San Juan and parts of the upper loop stay muddy for a few days after rain. Personally, I'd wait until Mon/Tues. You'll be riding down running water on parts of Trabuco but it's no problem. I suspect there will be a few trees down though. You might want to bring a folding saw in your pack.
