Cracked my helmet (Bell Bellistic) at NorthStar and need a new one. The Giro Remedy and the Bell Drop both fit me about the same, although a slight nod to the Bell. The Remedy has 11 vents to the Bell's 7. Anybody have the Bell Drop and can you comment on heat? :?:

    Neither.

661 Evolution... it's fiberglass, has cool graphics, and has 11 vents. If you manage to break it in a crash, i'd guess you'll have far worse to worry about than a broken helmet.

The 2009 Remedy helmet is also fiberglass.

No worries, either a Remedy, Drop or Evolution + Mammoth = FUN!

    D-Rings

I know this makes me an unfashionable wimp, but I hate the D-Ring straps. I want to take my helmet off quickly at the chairlift. Don't like having to take off gloves and fiddle with D-Rings. 11 vents sounds good - the Remedy has 11. My amp goes to 11. :bang:

Bell drop is a great helmet. It never seems to get to hot for me. I mean it is a full face helmet but like I said. It never seems to get very hot. I use it for all kinds of riding too. XC, AM, DH, I wear a full face on every ride because it gives me confidence and I've fallen wearing a standard helmet and you can reck your face. o and they look sick.
