    Sweet.. I've seen a lot of different creatures riding local trails but I've only seen bears in Whistler.. very cool.. love the bottom pic.. he's looking back at you saying "yep I'm a badass"

    I came across her cruising from Marshall to Clarmont Wilderness several months back- standing about 10 feet off the trail. Where did you see him/her?
    oh, nevermind, looks like you saw it right around the same spot.

    I've seen a number of bears in Marshall. That one appears to be the mother bear who has a few cubs every year but they usually get ate. A couple years ago a mountain lion got one. I have seen a real big male that was almost a blond color up there and it looked to be almost double the size of this one. Very cool to see them and glad you got the pix, Dave.

    I was night riding in Marshall several years ago by myself (I know, I know) and came across a bear. We both turned and ran in opposite directions. I swore off riding solo at night after that (it lasted about a month.)
