Anyone having trouble with the Versus network website coverage of the TdF?

Were the web designers on crack when they designed the site?! Too many things to click on...confusing, overwhelming layout...sometimes the videos load, sometimes they are completely not there!

Day 2 and I am frustrated already (I don't have cable)! Hope they get their issues resolved or it's gonna be a long 21 days!

HD! versus is not showing in any of my HD channels! My wife always hate this time of the year. I watch the tour and TiVo it and still watch reruns. I'm always amazed at the milage they ride daily and the speeds.
And yes the versus website is hard to navigate.

    Thanks Sd..

I didn't want to start another road thread on STR.
    But........
Columbia team (USA) is strong even though all the attention is on a team from Kazakhstan?
You mean Astana... is greatest team in world... all other teams... are run by little girls... Kazakhstan?
Gimme a break..away... Ha! Try the veal and don't forget to tip your waitress.
I love the TDF! Go Columbia!

Yeah but I like Phil and Paul and Bobke!! Just like some people (used to) look forward to Madden announcing the games, I watch the Vs. coverage for the commentators!

I'd love to see Columbia take it to the top this year...should be interesting!

I hadn't noticed that but they have about 12 video clips ready to go and only one will play (Stage 2 crash montage).

The other thing I love is that their blogs/bios page has several out of date bios and their podcasts haven't been updated since last year. Lame. ITV has decent podcast coverage.

    Just checked out VeloNews...seems decent...

    HD on roadrunner.

I prefer to watch (or DVR) the pseudo-live coverage in the morning. You get a better feel for the hours and hours of effort the riders make.

Did anyone see George Hincapie's interview after the race? He was pissed at the other teams.

What happens if in 2 weeks both Lance and Contador are in the top 5? The team bus must be pretty uncomfortable even now. I guess it's a good problem to have.

Don't count on it.. Bruneel is damn smart. He knows Contador is faster than Lance, but it doesn't hurt Astana at all if Lance is in the yellow for a few days. AC will likely take the lead on the first mountain stage, allowing Lance to get his time in yellow to promote his cause further, and Contador to take the lead when it counts.
