** 2008 Santa Cruz Heckler Med Size. Fully Loaded & New Cond. ** Must SEE!!

2008 “custom” Santa Cruz Heckler. Just received it in March 08. This bike was sold to me as the AM kit from Santa Cruz. I’ve since replaced the following items before riding it: Stem, Chain, Clamp, Tires all with better components.
For those involved with a XC All Mountain riding style. This bike is awesome and very light. The JUDY Evolution 140mm fork is completely plush with all the extra adjustments. Must see to appreciate. I have all the paper work that this bike was bought brand new just to show it’s a legitimate sale. Must display ID if your interested in taking it for a test ride. Can’t afford to let this one get stolen so don’t try it.

It is one of the lightest functional single (140mm rear travel) suspension bikes available, period. It climbs better than any bike has a right to. It is incredibly simple, and supremely reliable. It can still ride the wheels off most of the competition. The simple, durable, optimally placed single pivot, sitting right where it always has, is probably the single most copied suspension design, ever. And it still works just fine, sharp as it ever was.

    Sorry,

This is the AM kit not the R AM... Different front fork, componets, bar clamp, tires, wheelset.

Thanks a bunch trying to slow down my deal.

I'm actually looking for a Heckler or Superlight, too bad it would probably cost more than the bike to drive down to San Diego.

    Not the same bike

    Evil,

It is not the same bike......the one at Colorado Cyclist has LX components, different fork, etc....

sucks you are trying to derail what I think is a fair price for this bike which seems to be in excellent condition based on the pics....

im going to start deleting posts pretty soon. i honestly don't believe EC was being vindictive and/or malicious with his post. i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he thought it was the same bike....carry on.

On the Santa Cruz website, they list 3 kits for the Heckler (r am, x9 am & xo am). Which one is it?

Last time for me to post anything in STR,

All I wanted to do was list a bike for sale in this great site. If you don't care for the price just laugh and move on. No need to start knocking it and link crap. I've & provided a decent price & description and photos. I'm really going to be taking a hard financial hit since I haven't owned it that long. If I didn't have to move and buy new washer & dryer, Fridge I wouldn't be selling it.

Wouldn't you mention a ok price and let the price drop quite a bit to better the deal for the new owner? Anyways... this bike is Awesome and willing to give a great deal.

Next week I'll delete this posting & advertise it in Craigs list.

Eddie, let's go for a ride at La Costa before you sell it.
