I have a nalgene bladder which ate an oring on the hose... and now the valve on the bladder (quick disconnect) leaks also.... where can i source replacement bladders or parts? My bite valve also leaks.....
If it came with a Dakine pack, Dakine CS will send you a new one at no charge. After going through several Nalgene replacement bladders with various leaks I offer the following suggestion - save yourself the time and wet back. Just put a Camelbak bladder in and be done with it. Not trying to be a smart ass but the Nalgene bladders are the biggest POS's ever made. Great design, poor execution. Edit - if you're just replacing the bite valve, the Camelbak valve will not work. It's a smaller ID fitting.
Another good bladder from my experience has been with the Deuter. It's been leek free so far and I find it easier to clean (wider top opening).
i used teflon tape over the o-ring. def helps the problem. but overtime, as you remove the hose the tape will wear out. but just tape it over again and your good to go!
I went through a few nalgene bite valves and they leaked or eventually got holes in them. I just went and got a camelbak brand bladder/valve and so far so good. BTW, the path had nalgene bite valves, not sure about bladders. Save your money and go camelbak.
