Thes is one that is old and needs some help. It kind of hidden but not secret. Park at Steed park/skate park. Take the last road to the right at the end of La plata, Calle extremo. This will dead end into a cul-de-sac. to the right is the animal shelter. If you go across the dirt lot at the end of the cul-de-sac, you'll drop off the back side to the left and down a hill. That where it is. This is not connected to the singles tracks, and this is the only way in. Have fun and bring a shovel.
Awesome man thanks. I ride out there all the time, didnt know there was one so close. I'll definitely try and work on it.
I went to check this out and found what looked to be more of like a BMX dirt park. Look pretty built up and official, like the city is planning on opening it or something. I'm not sure if this was the same thing you referring to. Any idea?
Here's a link. You can find a place to park around the Cul-de-sac at the intersection of Fabricante/Extremo. From there head west through the undeveloped lot/paint ball area. at the extreme west corner, drop down to the left. Imagine when you exit the trail "quailifier" at the fire road and look directly up the hill. Right now there is a large blue tarp hanging on a ole that you can see form the MTB trails. That is the area I'm talking about. I bet you were at Steed park looking at the old RC track. It is a small jump area, but it's close http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sou...07,-117.594824&spn=0.027789,0.034375&t=h&z=15
not sure about pump track, but... There is a huge dirt jumping venue between Laguna Niguel and San Juan Capistrano right off of Avery on the west / south side of the freeway. The nearest intersection is Paseo De La Colinas & Avenida Del Caballo. Take Del Caballo south into the neighborhood and it'll dead end into a culdesac where you'll continue up into the hills... I know there is some big stuff there but not sure if there is a pump track. A friend told me it's going fine although i think it is one of those places that gets demolished every year only to be rebuilt even better. cheers, -Terry
you're talking about mercedes. no pump track there, just jumps and ladder drops (that are sick), although there is a nice lines of berms- probly needs some work now though :?:
Someone is building some lines there they are not rideable at this point. Are there any other spots we could try?
