Link: http://www.wrightwoodcyclery.com/ww50.html Looks like a fun ride. I have obligations that day so I won't be there. Sharing the information for anyone that would like to ride.
I rode the course a couple weeks back. it is definitely no joke. I was really surprised, though, with the sweetness of the s/t up there. I was prepared for boring fire roads, but enjoyed very challenging trails with great views.
thanks for the link. Who's got a map? not seeing anything on their website. 50miles of singletrack and fireroads sounds great, but who's got a map of the route?
Normally with these types of grass root self supported races they send maps and GPS tracts to those that enroll. Wood guess this a group ride of friends...hard and $ to get a event permit.
Strava is your friend (Crispy did say that he did a pre-ride) http://www.strava.com/activities/177972006
Wow, up Acorn? I've never been down it, but hear it has some real tech DH spots. Is it harder than going up Blueridge ST? That's definitely a "Best of WW Single Track" route! I would be too tired to enjoy it all. That's three days worth of trails for me. . .
Nice one thanks. I'm still not sure if Strava is my friend, but yeah I get the idea now. Appreciate the help.
