It comes from one of the many knots you learn to tie when you are fly fishing, which is my other passion. Other knots that you use when fly fishing are: perfection loop, double surgeon's knot, blood knot and the Orvis knot.

When you tie a nailknot you actually use a nail to assist you. I use a nailknot when joining two lines together that vary in diameter

Well there was a man, lived in a shed
Spent most of his days out of his head
For his shed was rotten let in the rain
Said it was enough to drive any man insane...

Was listening to this song when I signed up. Seemed to describe my present life pretty well, as a recluse working in a tiny aging hovel down by the beach here.

Because I sweat a lot, not that I have a condition, just that I seem to be perpetually out of shape lol. Plus the prefix and suffix possibilities are endless and always provokes a chuckle from me.

My wife calls me "Hattrick" after I burp, fart and pick my nose. Doesn't have to be in that order.

I used Archangel (biblical reference) during my dialup BBS days until the X-Men cartoon came out in the early 90's. Everyone kept asking if I was an X-Men fan, which I wasn't, so I changed it to Arkayne.

Sweet zombie Jesus...a quote from 'Futurama'. Professor Farnsworth says it occasionally, hence my avatar.

I'm big, guy's at work started calling me Mongo, ( from Blazing Saddles ).
Saying I was hired to turn wrenches and lift heavy objects.
Some day's they call me Train-wreck.
I don't want to lend credence to that one

Worked in an office where I was one of 4 Steves...... so I started getting called Tree (last name pronounced tree size) so folks would know which Steve they were talking about.
