Fact is I along with multiple othrs got a virus from accessing str. These warnings still show and no real evidence of being addressed at site.

I totally dig str and all the peeps on the board , mad props to george for all he has done to develop and maintain the board but IMO would be nice If this issue seemed to be handled more seriously or at least more communication of any efforts if they exist. Even if all clean inpacts perceived integrity of site a user experience issue no doubt with multiple warnings.

Again just my opinion and weighing risks (again no doubt site was cause of virus on my computer)

Clearly George has no interest in STR these days...except the video games he can buy with what little cash it generates*

*If that doesn't draw his elusive a$$ out, nothing will.

Bro, that's not true and you're so very wrong!!!
He's clearly balls-deep in his new G4, new apps and fanboy hysteria. Nothing comes close to such significant happenings; even his ex-baby, STR.

    Don't call it a comeback
    more like a burnout

The only solution to this is to clean the mess up and take care of updating the forum software to the latest compatible version to avoid any future attacks from the exploits, the current version of the forum thats running now has a couple of very well know XSS & HTML injection vulnerabilities. I have been in contact with george thanks to dino and hopefully i will be able to do it by today

    Good insight Calzone!

By the way, what's the purpose or intent with inflicting sites with malware? I understand the malware that tries to get you to pay to clean it up, and those who are gathering information, but is there any other purpose?

Crap advertising (viagra, porn sites, etc.) and identity theft are the two big ones. You'd be surprised at how many people whip-out their CC, when they get a false window claiming they've been infected and need to buy their software to remedy and resolve the situation. It all starts from there and goes downhill.

Still getting the Malware warning. . .

Any idea on when the site will be removed from Google's blacklist?
