    btw, am I the only one that thinks Gee shouldn't still be winning? it was a great run, for sure, but Gullevich and Lacondeguy had runs that were just as smooth, but with WAY more trickage...

    Yeah they keep saying zone 2 is the harder zone, and Gee bombed down zone 1, he was fast ans smooth but thats it. Yeah I can see him in maybe top 5 but not still first.

    my thoughts exactly. Gee is WAY out in front too. the only standout thing he did was hit the quarter pipe transfer clean.

    Yeah. For some reason, the judges think one (admittedly impressive) trick trumps everything else.

    However, when I was skating in contests, the general rule of thumb was the 1st and last people always got screwed on their scores. In mountain biking, I guess going 1st trumps all...
