love our kids When she asked to get fixed i went and had a few Cadillac Margaritas then it was snip snip and two jack Russel terriers latter we now have what some would call grand kids.
so i have 3 dacshunds, 2 shih-weeny mixes, a rottie, a boston terrier, and my littler girl that part chowchow, husky and jack russell.. dont ask how the jack russel got in there. I want a Viszla! those are my favorite dogs.. we have one that comes in for baths at my work and i spoil her.
More pics of my dog Charlie. 6 months makes a big difference in puppyhood! We got him on a canned food diet now that he *actually enjoys* so hes gained a bit of weight. Thats good because he was too skinny before.
"Spike" Brought home from a shelter 3 years ago. Always nice to have someone happy to see you after a ride! I never cared much for Chi hoouh hoouhs until I met this lil guy.
Pickle Got her at 2 months. We had her for 3 days and she got parvo. After 7 days in the hospital, 3 blood tranfusions, 2k in vet bills, and many sleepless nights caring for her we lost her. Sux. She was an awesome dog. Worst part is its too risky to get another one because of the parvo in the house, it lives up to 6 months if not killed with bleach.
goldens Why no goldens? they can outrun, outsmart and prolly out ride all of your mutts. sure your dogs are cute, but c'mon doesn't the dog reflect the owner? Go Raiders! Pet my Pit? ....I mean terrier.
Since goldens were mentioned. This was Bjarne. He was a golden retriever/chow mix. He was my beloved dog and he died of cancer in October 2004 when he was only 8. Bjarne was super smart-- too smart sometimes! This is Hannah. This is my parent's new puppy. She's a 5 month old Golden Doodle (a golden retriever/poodle mix). I puppy sit for them frequently. She's awesome and super smart too!
Very seldom does a puppy make it back from parvo...almost never. In my opinion, any decent vet would advise that before taking thousands of your dollars.
here's my parvo survivor. she's 13 1/2 & might possibly be her last xmas. she's not doing so hot. has bad arthritis in her hind legs. otherwise, she's very healthy! my akemi... i just looked back through several pages of doggies & saw that i posted last xmas' pic of akemi, in front of the tree, in this same corner, wearing the same bandana. doh! last year's tree looked better. oh, and this year,we have a new cat...
