this thread is useless without pics. and action pics too! good luck on the DH at sea otter too. I'll tell my friends to harass everyone with a path bike shop jersey :bang:
Sounds like it is really coming together. Good luck at The Sea Otter Julia and hope to see you screaming down hill at Big Bear this year. +1 on pics please.
The OnePointFive to 1 1/8 headset is a pian to find. I'm using a XXcFlushII on my slopestyle if you go dual crown you may want to give that a try with a bolt on stem. You need a spacer on the bottem depeinding on what fork you use. http://www.canecreek.com/component-headsets?product=XXcFlushII
I had no issues finding a 1.5 to 1 1/8 reducer headset. I do have the same on as you do on my SS. She has a direct mount stem already I remember correct.
THE BIKE IS NOW COMPLETE AND IT RIDES AS GOOD AS MINE :-k MAYBE BETTER. HMM Let's make this Thursday's loop a big bike loop. We have to break in the new ride. It's too bad I have to work on Thursday. I would like to do some shuttling.
Hey im up for some day shuttling...You deserve a day off.. Congrats with the build. The OC Bike Doctor saved another life.
Any time anyone feels like posting a Testimonial regarding my services please feel free. http://www.ocbikedoctor.com/testimonials You can even mention conjoining efforts from local shops I support everyone. Without out local shops we wouldn't have the parts we need when we need.them.
well, pictures elvia? :?:   and a bit OT, jason, do you have the means to replace the DU bushings in a fox DHX? my reign is knocking
Pictures Here are some pictures please be patient. My computer takes it's time downloading pictures. The pictures of the building process are from my phone. Sorry! They aren't the greatest. Hope you notice the big smile on Julia's face. Now we know it takes a bike build for her to smile. I watched Julia and Jason play on the bike last night. It was a great feeling to see this build DONE. Jason sure takes pride in his work he paid attention to every detail. It was great to watch someone work on something they love to do. It was so noticeable this is his thing. I could also see the satisfaction on Jason's face watching Julia play on the final build. As tired as he was he was smiling. Julia is not one to give up and would not leave Jason's garage last night without the bike. Thanks Jason!!!
Thanks everyone for all of the support on this project. Jason is a very good mechanic he even used some of his own parts on my bike , I owe you Jason. The first night that we worked on my bike we didnt finish till 1:00 in the morning and then we went for some food. The second night we were there we finished at about 12:30 and my mom and Jason were so tired. Pato was also a big help with this bike build he sold me some parts and taught me how to build a bike somewhat. I would like to say thanks to my mom on all of the purchases and trips to the path that she made for me, I would also like to thank the Path for all of the help with the bike. Now that it's done i can start upgrading my parts. P.S. Mom i like my pedals:bang::lol: Julia12
 NICE! you're so lucky to have all these friends! Wish you all the luck on your race! now go beak a leg!! :bang:
