That's one of the bikes I'm looking at. What have you heard? I'm also thinking about the Heckler.

Basically I want something that can take some abuse and minor hucking but that will still trail ride well.

And yea, it's entry level, but I think my wife will go for something near $2k, but not much higher.

Dude, at your size and the way you ride, there are no minor hucks. Your bikes wince in pain when you fly off curbs. :bang:

Good point. Any advice on the applicable bike for someone such as mysefl?:?:

I've been looking at sh1tloads of bikes and they seem to be too heavy or not burly enough. I want my cake and I want to be able to eat it too.

Some ideas: Heckler, Jamis Parker II, Spec. Pitch, Trek Remedy and some new Mongoose that Andy heard about.

Oh, and of course, I don't want to pay too much. :-k

    You're welcome.

    Er, I mean, sorry.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think those bikes are a little more downhill than I want. I was looking at the 6 point and I thought that might be a little burlier than I want. But maybe Chewy is right and I should just go big and heavy and not worry about it.

Sorry to hear that you are giving up the Canzo....thats a pretty sweet bike. You should probably hit Andy up. He says that Candace wants to get the full squish 29er.
