    Hi everybody,

I recently moved back to Aliso Viejo and started riding at my favorite local spot of Aliso Woods. Wow! In 8 years, this place has radically changed. Being on "Top of the World", or "5 Oaks", I can really see a increase of newly developed trails.

What's new in the woods? Any good new trails? What are their names? How are the Rangers and their relationship with everyone? Apologizes if there is already another "Aliso Woods" type thread in this website, I couldn't find one.

    Safe Trails,

    Mike

Check out Mentally Sensitive, as well as Car Wreck.

@mikegh Nothing really new in the Wood, but all of the trails have gotten wider. In 2012 and 2013 a crew, led by Kioti, installed about 20 berms on Meadow, making it a complete flow trail. I was lucky enough to work on it a few times myself and have the satisfaction of riding berms I helped build. It's got some braking bumps, but the berms have held and it's way fun. Mentally Sensitive is steep, and has a reputation for being sketchy and rutted. I prefer the flow of Meadow.

Car Wreck was officially opened since you last visited the park. It's wide, but challenging for sure. 5 Oaks got a lot wider too, as did Rock-It and Stairs. Lynx is fun, but pretty beat up with braking bumps.

And STR basically died. Most of us moved over to IMTBTrails.com.

I rode Aliso Woods last weekend! The park is in great shape! It looks like some of the sketchy sections have been updated all around the park. I wish other parks would do some up dates as well.
