how's about you just hold on to my camelback up cholla(actually if you could do that while climbing on an SS up cholla you would reach ultimate sandbagger status) and we call it even. hahaha

Look on the Marketplace here, someone was selling a Saint crankset setup for single speed for 50 bucks.

Otherwise, I would go XT.

always fun to watch someone on their first SS ride

At the trail head "I Love this bike it is so simple"

Starting off on a flat area "This is really easy and fun!"

First little hill "That wasn't so bad..what is the big deal"

First long hill "I think I may have the wrong gear ratio"

First steep hill "My heart feels like it is going to explode"

Second steep hill " Is that Jesus calling me into the light? I think I am going to pass out"

Third steep hill "Phuck it!! I am walking"

End of the ride "That sucks why did I waste my $$ on that thing"

A few days later "That wasn't so bad"

After a few rides "This is kinda kewl"

After a few months "I can't remember the last time I rode my geared bike
