Default 14.5 a good size for a female 5'3"???

once I get my AM bike I may take the parts off my Stumpy and build my girlfriend a nice mt. she is 5'3", and there is a Giant Trance on sale at 14.5, if I may ask, those that know, is this a good size for her height?

I'm 5'3" (no really I am) 14.5 is about perfect for me, but like Allison said, it'd be best for her to try it out.

like allison and miguelito said, in theory it should fit, but it is probably best for her to sit on one just to make sure....don't wanna drop all that coin for it not to fit good.

Well spoke to her last night and shes not into it enough for me to go to any trouble...I guess we will just cruise around on the Beach cruisers....at the beach of course

Sorry to hear that. I've been wanting to upgrade my wife's proflex to something with more travel to give her more confidence on the downhills. She'd kill me if I did, cause she doesn't ride enough to justify the cost. Maybe I can sneak in a longer stroke shock and a longer travel fork and she might not notice?
