Default PVC pipe can be your friend

Found this web site

http://www.instructables.com/id/EN6LC1KHJIEP286BWZ/

It has several plans for building stuff for bikes out of pvc pipe , Now I can see building a bike rack , Sits on the ground no big deal ( I am makeing a 3 bike rack from this plan ) and I must admit I am trying the work stand also but have my doughts it will work .

The thing that got me was a set of plans for a car roof rack with pvc Now ya lost me , No way would I ever try that one

Has anyone tried any of these pvc designs

Here are the two pics of the bike rack / work stand

I think we definitely need a PVC Traveling Mexican Wrestling Ring for all STR rides.

Now this is what you should do with all your skiis and poles...!!!
-------------------------------------------------------
introBicycle rack from old skis and ski poles
Bicycle parking rack for 5 bikes made from old skis and ski poles. Wood or PVC pipe could be used in place of skis and poles. I just happened to have these available and didn't want to throw them away.

debug...

Good question. I just looked. It's stamped 1 1/4" on the outside but doesn't say if it's ID or OD. I couldn't find a measuring tape.

Mine is stamped 1 1/4" on the outside, but the ID measures slightly over 1 1/4" - about 1 3/8". Regardless, it's been working well.

Yeah I thought that was ID.... Typically IDs are listed for size because depending on material used, that could vary the outside diameter....

If it wasn't ID then 1 1/4" probably wouldn't fit over a 1 1/8" steerer tube
