XTR Dual Controls + XTR Low-Normal = Shifting Heaven

I'll ride a SingleSpeed before I ever go back to high-normal derailleurs...

So, to shift into an easier gear on my (rear) cassette, I push with my thumb. But on my left (front) I use my thumb to push the chain onto a bigger ring. So is that high normal? I have XT stuff.

I had rapid rice..... is not as good as regular rice, but it is fast ..

I had all three, .........regular, rr, and SARM.... I prefer rr ,,,,,, but SARM is not to far back.
I like rr because it bugs the hell out of TK... he does not get how it works...

Except all the mis-shifts when riding technical stuff caused by accidentally shifting gears when moving around with your fingers on the brake levers...or at least that's what's happened to me. Every time I hopped over an obstacle I'd shift a gear, damn it! I know that's a rider thing, but I hate to change my riding style because of product design. I want to be able to ride technical stuff with my fingers on the brake levers.

Umm...you never have to worry about poor shifting on a singlespeed! In gear all the time, every time.
