Default A good place to get bearings for yer hoopty

I needed some new bearings for my 20mm front hub. Cost was moot because I'm headed to Mammoth and was willing to pay what ever. Went to my normal place and it was not even there anymore. Oh no. Checked on line and found this place.

Ah, local so I went down and they had 20mm X 32mm X 7mm bearings in stock for $7.95 each. Nice

Dave,

Glad to hear you got it sorted out. When you rolled up on Saturday and said it sounded a little bad, I thought, "Dave's kinda anal about his boat stuff, so I'll bet it's just a little squeak or somethin and it's probably just buggin him a bit." Then when you flipped the Brooklyn over and spun that front wheel, it sounded like you had swapped out the balls in the bearing for shards of broken glass

You got new bearings, and I went out and got some new gear for the trip too... I'll post up some pics tomorrow. Ty and I still need to pick up our camping gear and make sure the tents don't have any new holes in em. I'm definitely getting stoked for this deal!

yeah Chris, I'm not even close to being that way with my bikes. I ride parts until they fail most of the time. lol
I got the bearing thing sorted out and noticed a few other things. So I ended up punting and turned the rig over to Tim at Switchback. He will have it tight and right today fo sho.

Glad to hear you're fired up.

Dave,

I'm definitely stoked... Just a little stressed because my "I hope I get it in time for Mammoth" purchase spent an extra day in the Phoenix FedEx distribution center. I can take my bike how it sits, but I'd much rather make this little swap with enough time to at least bomb some staircases before we leave. Looks like it will be a typical Lloyd brothers adventure... wrenching on crap the night before we roll out. On the bright side, at least we're not wrenching on the vehicle getting us to the mountain

BTW, plan on being at Ty's house at 6am sharp and don't forget the rack
