I know I can warranty both of my marzocchi forks. they are both oe forks, ones a drop off triple and the other's an all mountain 4 I know they are not high end forks but the all mountain 4 is a month and a half old the oil leaked out of the valve and the rebound adjust is seized, the drop off tops out hard even with low pressure, its only 6months old. any one else have this problem? or am I just lucky

could ask Steve at Garage Works and see what he says... might be a simple fix that wont need to return them for however long it will take Marz to fix them and send them back... if he thinks they should be returned, then im sure he will tell you...

I'd say warranty them. Those AllMtn4's were having tons of issues, but all were covered no questions asked from Marz. I dont believe the DO fork has rebound? If so, it should be warrantied, else time to look, for a new fork. Only thing with Marz is turnaround time. Expect 3-4 weeks.

i believe marzocchi is in valencia, give them a shout and tell us what they said. i've had nothing but good fortune with the 3 marzocchi forks i've owned.

Call them with regard to the All Mountain fork. As b-rad said, there were issues that were graciously (at least in terms of overall fork mfg service
handled by Zokes. Now for the bad news... Drop offs are notorious for topping out and all around clunkyness. Pull the tech sheet off Zokes site for the fork and verify the oil level that is in the fork vs what their oil level table specs Marzocchi Suspension - Planning and production of motor bike and mountain bike shock absorbers and forks since 1949 . The dropoffs use a pumping rod instead of an actual damping cartridge, and as a result your best form of tuning for that fork is going to be through oil volume and weight adjustment. If you do a search for SSV tuning, Drop off top out, etc. on the misc forums like Ridemonkey and mtbr, you'll find some worthwhile info. Good luck, Chris |
