Default New Cranks

I am rounding up parts for my RFX frame that comes in next month. This is my second set off Middleburns.

Square Taper, Compact 5 arm spider, non of those pesky chain ring nuts...the bolts thread right into the spider. Cheaper than XT's. You can get 165-180mm arms. Large choice of different sized steel chainrings.

Downside...hard to find.

I new The Path had them so I did not have to order them for Alex Nut at MTB Tandems. The Paths selection is getting low.

Noice.

I have a set of older Middleburns that look just like that, but with a traditional spider.

I was just wondering if they were still around...

The spiders are not part of the crank arm so they can be changed. They have 5 arm 4 arm, or you can run there singlespeed cogs instead of a spider.

They're sexy when you add in Boone Ti.
