Default North OC Local Bike Shop

Would anybody recommend a local bike shop for repairs in North OC or Diamond Bar with decent prices?? I live in Brea and work in Fullerton & Diamond Bar.

I seem to have really tweaked my derailer when i fell over yesterday. i was not drinking on the trail ... just trying to get use to these clipless pedals... lol

the more i look at the derailer, it might be in my bikes best interest for me to have a pro look at it.

Thanks for any suggestions...

Not to far, but I recommend CoatesCyclery in Pomona. Fair prices and good work. Wait a little long at this time as they are swamped.(Good service and good work has a way of keeping you busy.)

I live in Brea too! I only go to La Habra Cyclery around here, I don't trust Two Wheeler Dealer and Jax will nickle and dime you for everything.

La Habra is located on Harbor Blvd on the left side before Whittier Blvd.

Otherwise, the shop I'd point you to is The Path or Switchback Cyclery. They're very good with service and repairs.

Closest, Banning's Bikes, 206 North Harbor Blvd. Fullerton. 714.525.2200. Best within reach, Adrenaline in Orange.

I'd second the Bannings recommendation. I took a wheel in to be repaired and they had it the next day and they were inexpensive. Good work at a fair price. But I do take my bikes to the Path if they need any major work.

No doubt... La Habra Cyclery. 562-691-7118 West side of Harbor, in between Whittier and La Habra (Central for you Brea dwellers). Sometimes their prices are astonishingly low, sometimes higher than you'd pay online, but they take care of their customers.

Adrenaline is pretty close to Brea. I can probably get it in for service pretty quickly.

I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record or like I'm on the payroll, but the service at Adrenaline can't be beat. Every time I'm in there they seem to outdo the previous visit. And I owe you guys a twelver of Fat Tire for this latest fix!

Only had one piece of work done at Banning's, but they still get my vote. Quick turnaround and decent price. Don't get me started on Jax.

Default Update on La Habra Cyclery

Well, after everybody's suggestions to visit La Habra Cyclery, I had the wifey take my bike there to get the goose looked over.

They said i bent the rear derailer soo bad it needed to be replaced. So they would have it repaired by the next day and the gave her the quoted price.

Well, when i picked the bike up today, they told me that they couldn't get the exact replacement derailer that came with the bike, so they upgraded it to the next level so i wouldn't have to wait extra days for the repair. All at NO Extra charge. They gave me their quoted price!!! I was blown away by what they did.

Anyway... thought I would share my recent experience with LHC. I would totally recommend them!!
