there is a nylon washer between the lever and the body of the brake lever. That might have been worn down, do you spray any wd-40 or anything that can eat through the washer? is your lever new ? both levers or just one side?

Default Danger Boy?

I have herd the Dangerboy levers will fix that problem but have never seen it myself. I have changed the plastic pivots on mine and then they are as good as new.
