I haven't had much luck with their customer service either. The rear bolts are easily vibrated out of the chain stay/shock triangle area, despite being installed by a "hyrdalic press" (the real engineers here can explain why that's not a total solution when the bolt isn't a good fit).
They're response was "you're supposed to check all bolts before riding"--mind you, I had only been riding the bike for 2 months and the bolts were checked on assembly. They then stated they would send more, for a replacement--last November--still don't have any.

They were special somehow, but had some made (there are benefits to having a special someone with access to machine shops and stuff--I think they were just shorter)
Titus rep said, "they can not be removed easily...you have to check to make sure they don't vibrate lose...you can't remove them by hand". Total BS John removed the same bolt from his Asylum with very little effort (my replacement part until he made a new one)... Oh, and they advise NOT using any type of lock tight, as it can get on the bearings or something (again, not really mechanically minded here, that's why I chose a career of torturing real people instead)

Wow.
I'm going to have to give them a thumbs down with these poor responses on their part, I'll relay this info that my friend's friend is not alone with his service woes. Here is the crack on the rocker arm: ![]() Last edited by ApexMan; 06-06-2007 at 07:40 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
