drop the crowns down a bit, they should have a minimum level of where they can still be 8" of travel with the head tube lower. just by a few mm tho

I have it so low I can get all except the last .5" - .25" of travel. Someone must make a triple clamp that allows more room. The arch on the boots hits the bottom clamp.

Sounds like you're pretty much screwed in terms of adjusting the fork any further, but you might be able to make some small gains with a headset swap. If you're running a 1.5 headtube, you could run E13 zerostack reducers combined with a zerostack headset. It's not much, but it might help.

Thanks for that info, I may try it. I think I am comfortable with the current hight and that head set might give me just enough room. I'll get a pic and post it tomorrow.

i dont know much about that fork vince, but maybe reducing the ammount of preload will drop it down a bit.. why do you want to drop it?

I want to lower the head tube, which will speed up the steering by decreasing the head tube angle. But I still want to keep the 203 mi of travel. I actually have a headset that will work. My bike is at the shop getting the work done. I'll let you know how it turns out.
