Default Fox Rear Air Shock BUSHING?

My Fox rear Shock bushing is so worn. There's a slight vibration and movement that is slightly annoying. The shock itself is in great shape. Here's my questions

A. Should I try to find a bushing and repair it to save the $100+ for a new rear shock?

B. Has anyone done this or is it a worthless cause?

C. I can install bearings so this is no brainer right?

D. Where do I buy a bushing? Manufacturer or home improvement store, etc.?

Thanks..one guy , four bikes, one garage, no parking!

you're talking about the aluminum bushings that the the bolts go through right? most LBS should have some in stock, but i'm not sure if they would have the size you need. its best to bring the shock in with you so they can see what size you need.

the bushing you speak of is a bronze bushing, spookydave kood make one cheap??? or order one,and have a good shop install it for you.bronze bushings are not to be obtained at HOME DEPOT.they are made for and by the shock manu facterer.most of them are oil impregnated,so as to lubricate as time goes on for wear porposes.hope that helps, sorry to drage on tho.....
