Typical for Nevegals. I had the same problem. In addition to the knobs coming off, it would tear back the tire casing with the knob. Try out another tire...

I use the tubeless version, same problem. They don't like rocks much. Fine for hard pack singletrack.

In the past year, I have gone through 4 or 5 Nevegals on the read rim and I always have the knobs eventually coming off from the constant banging into rocks. I run them at 40 PSI and I am a big guy (230 lbs), so I just think it is natural wear and tear. These tires don't last as long as others in my estimation, but I do like their grip.

Just Curious, how long have this tires been in use? like roughly, how many miles or times has the tires been used.
I've heard about this before.
