Default Cannondale Lefty Service

I need some help with servicing a Cannondale Lefty fork, circa 2001. The fork does not hold air. I have not worked on one before, and reviewed the cannondale website for instructions and did not find anything.

Does anyone know / refer anyone where a service manual is or anyone who can repair it? It may be just as simple as tightening the valve core in shrader valve, which I attempted to due, but the entire shrader valve rotate and it is not obvious as to hold it in place.

Thanks in advance.

Try Drake Thomas. He will service it for you.

Here's the official Lefty thread from MTBR: http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=572616

You might find that one or another of the various threads might suit you.

Most shops don't (can't) work on them, so they send 'em to Cannondale.

He recently serviced a friend's Lefty and I heard he did a pretty good job.
OP: I sent drake this thread link, so I think he will respond to this post.

I used Win Allen of Win's Wheels in Westlake Village. He is a former Cannondale employee...he knows what he is doing and is very friendly. http://www.winswheels.com/

^^ +1 on Win. Great guy (and he just expanded his shop!).

He's done a lot for me on my RUSH and never mentioned he'd worked at C'dale OR that he could work on my Lefty. Jeez -- he's my local wrench for cry pete!!!
