Chain whip tool? If you're obsessive, cheap or drink too many espressos, you can make one out of an old chain and an aluminum bar.

Grease on the axle doesn't help the bearings, really, and glopping it up with grease just makes a mess. However, the argument can be made that a thin film will protect it from moisture that will find it's way in there.

Along those lines, add a bit of grease on the inner side of the seals. In addition to lubricating the seal, it will act as an added barrier against dirt and water that may work it's way in.

IM KLEEN PINKIE FINGER. oh back to your kwestshun. uh yes its enuff grease,no on the axle,too tite on the cone nuts or your balls are worn ( ie the crome is peeling off your balls). call me if yood like.my no. is 951-KLN-PNKY..... O YA YOU NEED THE RUBBER ON THE WEEL,it keeps dert out.
