REI and I think Jensen had one during the summer. Also I would pick up a good maintenance book. I got one when I got my road bike, but it works just as well with the mt bike.

Try Zinn and the Art of Mountain Bike Maintenance. It's pretty much "THE" book to get if you want to work on your bike.

Default I can teach you...

CycleCC,

I consider my self a pretty decent wrench. PM me and we can set up a meeting so I can show you some of the basics. I have my own tools, and work stand. So if you want we cant meet at a trail head and after the ride I'll show you how to tune derailleurs, remove cranks and BB, and etc.

Just PM me.

LOL!!! You're not stepping on any toes. I appreciate the offer. And I actually do a lot of work on my own bike as well...with my tools and bike stand. I owned all my own stuff b4 I met the boyfriend. (hehehe) I think that part kinda turned him on.

Anyway I have no problem hooking up and meeting with people who I can learn from, either on a ride or with a tool bag.

Thanks for the offer - cc

BTW - It was "tep" that was looking for the info, I was just trying to help him out.
