Default better bearings for VPP bikes

Was browsing the new Decline magazine and came across aftermarket bearings for VPP bikes from http://ctsmtb.com/pps.cfm

Quote:
This kit is an upgrade for Santa Cruz Bikes using VPP suspension systems and is designed to increase bearing life and reduce creaking.

What this system achieves is a method to inject grease through the end cap between axle and pivot surfaces with out disassembly using Dualco type grease injectors. This grease barrier also keeps contaminates and moisture from getting into bearings . There are also four quad sealing rings (4 sided O-ring) that are installed on bearings which helps keep contaminates away from bearing seals. This upgrade kit allows VPP suspension systems to operate smoothly and quietly, reducing maintenance and bearing replacement costs. Axles and end caps are manufactured using 7075-T6 aluminum. Axles are center-less ground and hard anodized for durability and longevity.

Seems pretty cool, especially if you're pivot(s) are already creaking.

Buy a Turner and you won't have to worry about no stinking bearings.

Damn you Dean for taking the words out of my mouth. I have to laugh thinking about the STR rider that will remain nameless that I was riding behind on his VPP bike creaking like a mofo as he was climbing.

Two reasons of how I know its not me:

1) I'll never be ahead of Craigger on a climb
2) My bike doesnt have VPP

That was me. Mr. Creaky! I call it the old lady because it sounds like she's getting it in the bedroom. Sorry dino.

Thumbs down grrrr

okay. So I have emailed this place twice and left two messages and no call back or email reply. wtf! They must be shut down for the winter. Nobody ever picks up. I wanted them and now I have to order from Santa Cruz. I wanted to try out something trick since I am always take them apart to lube. It would save me about an hour of lube time! Oh well- their loss.
