Put a sticker over it, go find the biggest jump/huck you can find, and go for it! Just kidding, that doesn't look too good to me, but I'm sure there's someone on here who would know better than myself.

hey ross, it looks like thats just some kind of a droop stop.. its got another one on the other side? hows that look. id find another aluminum spacer like that one, take the bolt off, slide the old one off, new one on, replace it and go beat the bejesus out of it again. i guess you could even replace it with some kind of rubber or hard plastic such as delrin. make the top outs a little smoother.

id say its 100% ridable until that little piece falls off, even then the arm is going to stop against the bolt that holds that little piece on. looks like it broke from over tightening. not that you did, thats just the way it looks. heres an idea. take that bolt out, and make a trip to your local hardware store. be sure to take that bilt and spacer with you. theres a sections in most stores that has nylon and other plastic/steel/aluminum sleeves that you can go through. find a sleeve equal in OD or a little bigger that fits over that bolt, should be good to go IMO. good luck bra.

You should be ok until you get the replacement spacer in because the bolt is still there. You might as well order 2 of them because if there is a no-compression stop on the other side it has been bearing twice the load since that one cracked, thus fatuiging the metal even more. It looks like the bolt was improperly torqued and possibly not enough rebound dampening on your rear shock caused this.

Worth a shot. I don't know what Santa Cruz's warranties are like but I'd imagine after dumping the kind of money that those go for into one it would be pretty good. I guess if the factory rep is coming to your shop it IS pretty good, I can't imagine Specialized or Iron Horse doing that
