I rebuilt the caliper properly everything went well, bled the system multiple times and get little to no movement form the pistons.
Time to rebuild the master cylinder??? OR could it be possible the cap is leaking? something has an air leak? I have bled 9's before with no problems what-so ever so i dont know what gives

They bleed strong occasionaly and then act like they get air sucked into the line... so maybe they could have a pin hole in a bent spot that opens up at certian parts of the travel??? the last time I bled them though they wouldnt firm up at all? Maybe i should just buy a new 69.99 nine for the back and put my BFL lever on it

If im not mistaken they can leak internally between the inner and outer layer.I had a similar problem with the same brakes.I had a steel braided line. After trying everything else; I replaced the line and the brake has worked fine since.

the HFX series also had a couple issues with how they use to be made. the master cylinder in the lever if dropped or hit a certain way, could just break. saw it happen a lot from 2004-2006 at diablo and plattekill. never have i bled so many hayes brakes
