I thought about this as well... When I got my RIP I never saw another on the trails now they are everywhere, so maybe a Pivot would be fun...

Breaking a frame is hot

Good luck with your new endeavors and with the choices that you now have to make.

Uh oh. Hope that's only an issue with the silver frames. Maybe the glow in the dark paint made mine stronger

.25" shorter.... Probably heavier... .5" less travel... Lots of options at this point. See you tomorrow

Just as I've been saying...29ers can't hold up to abuse.

Wasn't this the bike you were contemplating selling? If so, congratulations; you get to sell a new frame! (hopefully)

I'm sure warranty will take care of it. Hopefully they'll give you a new front and rear triangle (or new complete frame).

Well, that's one way to break up your ride - at least nothing happened to you.

That seems to be a common place for many bikes to break. I have seen many Truths break there and my Turner 5-spot broke there. I was able to lower my seat post thru the frame as a splint and slowly ride out. Let us know how Niner deals with the failure.

I have been contemplating selling them all and starting over... The DOS is gone and now the RIP The SOCOM stays(I just can't part with it), the SS is my ride until I figure this out... So I will be the guy on the ONE9 dying but getting stronger again until this issue is resolved...

that's not a known problem on that frame right?

and if warranty works out fine, why's there talk of other frames?
