Trail PIMP.....

here is the geometry...
![]() I ride a 20", and currently run a reba at 100mm, would going to a longer fork be unwise? how much would it change the head angle etc? bad idea?

You'd be just fine, geometry-wise.
It would be maybe half a degree slacker. If you went with a Fox 120mm fork it would be even less of a change than the Reba due to it's shorter Axel - Crown height. The Canzo has a reasonably steep Head angle and a super steep Seat Angle, so it's a good candidate for it. |

ride the reba you have.... like you tell me stop spending your money... or get a big boy bike, are you really pushing the bike enough to feel the difference in the through axle vs the QR I think money would be better spent on a rear shock and riding the reba you have. It will climb worse at 115 unless one of theose forks has a shorter axle to crown but RS usally has a pretty short A to C anyways. Just ride it and get yourself a big bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or you could go 15mm and have to change everything you own lol

A longer fork works *very* well on the Canzo - I have a 120mm Manitou on mine and have no issues where I feel like it hampered me at all. Slackens up the front just a skosh and I don't ever feel like the bike suffers because of it.

While at times you have very unorthodox perspectives, on this one, you are right on. I am a fan of steeper angles.

kick back and think about what your gaining with the fox. Are you getting enough dampening with the fork you have? Are you loosing a significant amount of weight with the more expensive fork? Up-grade itis, you dont have to do it just because its cool. 700 or 640 or whatever is alot of money to spend on a fork that isnt significantly improving over what your currently have. So Why??? useless

I say get the Fox 120 now! Then realize you want a REBA Uturn thru axle. Sell me the Fox.
Wow, Chewy, you're losing a complete singlespeed, bike and gaining 20mm of travel with the F120 Fork.
